Today, my abusive ex-boyfriend yet again decided to eat at the restaurant I work at. It’s traumatizing to me, and I think that’s why he does it. FML

go to the magistrate and get a protective order against him. that way when he comes in to eat, you can call the cops and have him arrested for violating it.

I’m so sorry, I know that can be scary and triggering. As hard as it may be especially with abuse you need to protect yourself. Tell your manager and get a restraining order.

Time to speak to your management and see if you can get him 86'd from that location and others you work at (if you travel or transfer). If they don't want to because there is no legal binding contract, contact your police department and they can help you file a restraining order for your safety that your management cannot refuse or you can create a lawsuit for them not upstanding a court ordered document

talk to your manager. your ex can be banned. my place of work did that for me once. abuse is a serious issue and traumatizing. also don't listen to Richard pencil. he is an idiot/ass/ dick.
