It's rarely a good idea for children to give unsolicited advice to their parents. It's a judgment call to help them with The Face Book or Snap Chap.
The third person usage makes this a bit confusing, is that how you communicate with your parents?
WTF that's confusing? Scenario 1: A tries to give B good advice but B ignores A (=not rude from your parents' point of view) so A snaps at B for ignoring the advices (=rude from your parents' point of view) --> well yeah? Advices are only advices, doesn't mean you have an obligation to follow them? Scenario 2: A tries to give B good advice, B ignores A (=not rude from your parents' point of view), so it results in A stopping giving advice to B and B snaps at A later because A does not want to help (=rude from your parents' point of view) --> I agree it's kinda dumb from B
