Today, I had a massive argument with my boyfriend, in which he called me stupid repeatedly. I stomped out of his house and sent a very angry text to my best friend about him. She didn't text back. Then my boyfriend texted, "My girlfriend is so stupid, she can't even text the right number." FML

#63: Emotional abuse is not something like name calling, it is someone putting you down. They make you think like you are the only one for them and that you can not get anyone else, they draw you in keep you in & tear you down. And emotional abuse is just one start, and then once you try to leave things get messy with ABUSE. Maybe you shouldn't make such comments about things you should know, and maybe do a little research. Because you are probably the type to either slip into that kind of relationship and stay forever or become the abuser. OP: Rofl, I've texted the guy I like on accident thinking it was my friend there names are close in my phone book and I was like I think _______ is so cute. I've done that quite a few times, text the person I was thinking about instead of the person I really meant for it to go to. Doesn't mean you are stupid at all. We don't know the details of the fight, but regardless, a boyfriend should never talk to his girlfriend that way, even if you two are fighting he shouldn't treat you like that. You might want to rethink being in this relationship
