Overzealous milkers

Today, most of my immediate family do nothing but criticise me for not breastfeeding. My mom even threatened to call CPS for child abuse, no matter how many times I explain I physically don’t produce milk, and formula feeding is literally my only option. FML

Tell them to either find you a legitimate source of breast milk or shut the **** up? Bonus, if they do manage to find you a viable milk share group in your area, it's usually by donation so your formula bill would be less... Bit of a win/win? The other option is to cut the toxic morons out and completely ignore their uneducated bullshit.

I would tell them to go ahead and call CPS. If/when anyone comes to investigate let them know that your family threatened reporting you for not breastfeeding. They don’t like false reports, also if your family continues to try stuff CPS will have a record of this and the information could be used if you wanted to pursue harassment charges in the future. You are doing what best for your child and that all you can do, ignore your toxic family.
