Today, an old lady came up to me and asked me to break a fifty for her. I gave her two twenties and a ten. I later used the fifty. It was counterfeit. I was conned by a pensioner. FML

You should never trust old people. Saps who played by the rules are all long dead and the survivors are the tricky ones!

Sounds like a $50 lesson to always check the note first. If you don’t have a counterfeit pen to check, you could always scratch Grant’s jacket. There are ridges that you can feel on all US bills.
