Today, I just found out that my mom is cheating on my dad. I went to give my dad the evidence I'd gathered, and he just said he knew, and that he’s cheating on her. FML

It’s seldom wise to attempt to interfere in your parents relationship. It’s not the job of the children to keep their parents faithful to each other or to report on one to the other. Taking sides just leads to more misery.

Assuming he’s still a kid. Side with the less violent/drunk/agitated one. Not the one just because money. If you’re a kid that has to live with one, it’s good to survive to adulthood and not have your ass beat when no one can save you and the parental figure has been drinking since 9 am
