Oh no you don't!

Today, I woke up to my partner showering me with love and gifts. Confused, I asked, "What's the occasion?" It was our anniversary. Not only had I forgotten, but I'd also scheduled a gaming marathon with friends for the entire day. FML

Do people not set reminders in their phones anymore? While I understand that it might seem a bit impersonal to do such a thing and it might be seen as more romantic to remember such an occasion without the need for reminders, it can be hard for people to remeber dates. Also, the OP didn't specify whether or not this is a wedding anniversary or not. If it's not, then it can be hard to remeber the exact date as to when you met your partner. Even if this is a wedding anniversary, it can be hard to keep dates, even important dates memorised.

Wow... it's something else when you can out-asshole a bunch of people who set fires to train tracks in order to disrupt the Olympics.
