Whoa this got published haha! Thank you guys, being single is not a bad thing to me, I very much enjoy it in some ways, not so much in others. Hearing someone be intimate with another makes me wish I had that though. Just a thought. Happy valentines!

Lol. I don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with Valentines Day.. it's just another day that is marketed at couples to spend money on shit they don't need. Thank god that it's no where near asouth commercial in Australia as what it is America

Valentine's Day was invented by card stores so they could make more money. So don't worry OP, **** Valentine's Day!
Actually it's much more likely that it has to do with the festival of Lupercalia, which was an old fertility festival celebrated on Feb 15. There are also 3 officially recognised St.Valentines all seemingly martyred on Feb 14. It's by far not a new celebration and not made up by some secret organisation of card stores to make more money.
Valentine's Day is overrated.
I really don't get what's wrong with being single on Valentines. It is just like any other day. I'm single and I quite enjoy the lack of "obligations" (it's not really an obligation if you do have someone you love and enjoy making them happy, but I mean that i'm free to do whatever the **** I want)

I do not understand why people celebrate this absolutely idiotic holiday. Ive been in a relationship since 2003. Neither of us celebrate it and we are missing nothing.

Being in a relationship just for the sake of not being single is worse than being single. Being alone is not bad. Being lonely is. Both being single and in a relationship have their ups and downs. Love yourself OP, love yourself and everyone will love you. Everyone. Well except me. I am a hater.
