Today, I was dumped by my girlfriend because she wanted to be with a man who has an income and a stable career. We are seniors in college and I accepted a really good job offer which I start once I graduate, which she knows about. She dumped me for a drug dealer. FML
Today, my girlfriend recently dumped me because she's serious about her career (temp secretary) and needs a man who’s also serious about his career. I’m an area manager for 6 hotels, making almost six figures. I found out she's now dating a very low level weed dealer. Serious career. Sure. FML
Today, I saw the girl I like had posted a status on Facebook, saying, “I’m sick of being lonely, why don’t any guys wanna date me?! I think I’m gonna spend my life alone.” I asked her out once and she turned me down. When I commented this fact on her post proving her statement untrue, she blocked me. FML
Today, I was yet again rejected by the man of my dreams. He’d rather date these girls with no college degree, no career, can’t cook/clean, etc., just because they have a pretty face and a nice body, instead of me who has a respectable future, career, and education. What is wrong with society nowadays? FML
Today, my mom called me a druggie after she found out I smoked weed once. She's now threatening to sell my car, tell my boss, and ban me from seeing my fiancée. I'm 24. FML
Today, a woman I’ve liked for years falsely claimed to be strung out on crystal meth rather than just turning me down. FML
Today, my longtime crush, who turned me down because he’s “sick of women”, just got into a relationship. He made it Facebook official, with photos of them and everything. Wanting to even the score, I commented, “So it seems your sickness of women is cured, huh?” He bitched at me for “ruining his moment” and deleted me. FML
Today, I saw the woman I asked out last month in a relationship with another guy. She rejected me because she “wanted to focus on herself.” I texted her and asked why she had lied to me. She responded with, “Okay, you caught me. But can you blame me? I’m not attracted to butt ugly Martian-looking men.” FML
Today, I went on a first date with a guy I met online. Not only was he boring, he twice excused himself to go to the bathroom and both times he came back smelling of weed. FML
Today, my mom has a new boyfriend. She insists he’s a good catch, because he makes enough from unemployment to afford Netflix and smoke weed every day, never mind that he doesn’t have a car, or a home of his own, or his original teeth, or underpants without holes in them. FML

Not everyone is compatible. The best thing to do when someone says they are not interested is to move on until you find someone who is interested in you and who interests you… Dating is not usually an economic trade off where if one person is well paid they can attract anyone they want regardless of their personality. That would be prostitution in a way if that were the case. Economics, education, and career is often a factor, but it’s just one factor out of several… Others have said it or implied it - OP you come off as arrogant and entitled. Nobody likes that. You need to recalibrate your expectations and learn some social skills. But even more importantly, you need to listen to the people around you. If they say they aren’t interested, it’s not a challenge, it’s a sign that you need to leave them alone and look for someone who might value you for who you are.

Look, I’m about to spit some real shit here. You know why you can’t get a date? It’s because of shit like this. You’re so hung up on one specific person that you can’t look past the fact that the two of you just are not a good fit. Move on and do so with no expectations. I had a fling last year with a much younger woman who was smart, spirited and hot as hell. She decided to move on from me. It hurt like hell but I tried again - and met the woman I’m dating today who’s even more spectacular and a better fit for me. So…uh, try that. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Chasing after someone you know is in a relationship is bad enough, but harassing them just shows how terrible a person you are. Their partner may not have the same 'success' as you, but I'm betting they treat them right. I doubt you would.

I think your probably under selling him. He's probably tall and a low demand job like Panera gives him plenty of time to actually be around. Those 2 things can easily be extremely attractive. That said people like who they like all you can do is t and be your best self and get out there.
