Today, I asked my friend, once again, to pay me back the $500 she owes me. She got annoyed and told me, “I told you, my Cash App locked me out of my account!” When I mentioned Venmo, she said she'd forgotten her password to it, called me a "selfish c*nt", and hung up on me. FML

(1) Never loan money you cannot afford to lose. (2) Anything more than $20 get it in writing. (3) If anyone ever fails to pay you back any amount of money then never loan them anything again. By the way, you are never getting that money back and you lost a person you thought was a friend.

lesson learned! I've stopped loaning money, but any money I give out is money I consider lost. so I don't mind losing $25 compared to $100

in this new era of the world wide web, so many lf us are having trouble adjusting to their cashapps and doordashes. heck. i remember the good old days when you had to write someone a check! you shouldn't be too hard on her. you deserved it.
