Can you work more hours? What about a 2nd job? Can you cut back on expenses? (smaller house/apartment, cutting hvac Temps higher in summer and lower in winter, turning off every light (reducing #of bulbs in multi-bulb fixtures), dropping subscription services (cable or streaming) shorter bath/showers, eating at home more (more rice/beans and less taco bell) cut back on shopping for luxury items).. every little thing helps. I have 2 nieces who mooch everyone they can for every dime. one (her, hubby and kids) live with their father in his paid off home, and yet they ask me to pay their electricity bill every month. they have 3 incomes and can't pay basic bills and expect others to pay for them. So, I'm on the other side of your situation and get tired of saying NO every 2 weeks for something else.No wonder you were blocked. I would not have given even the penny.
