Today, I went over to visit my sister. She had a bunch of pictures of me on her wall. I thought it was sweet, but a bit odd. Turns out she looks at pictures of me to motivate herself whenever she doesn’t feel like working out. FML

Today, I found out that when my ex needs motivation to go to the gym, she posts a picture of herself in a pair of huge pants with the caption, “NEVER AGAIN!” Problem? They’re my pants, that I'd left at her place after we broke up. FML

Today, my friend found a picture of herself on a website filled with pictures of thin people. I was in the picture, also. I was crossed-out with the word, "EWW" written next to me. FML

Today, I uploaded what I thought were beautiful selfies. One of my "friends" commented, "I've seen what your whole body looks like, so that's why you take only headshots. You're not fooling anybody, fatty." His comment got 18 likes. I took down the photos and spent the rest of my afternoon in tears. FML

Today, I was having a horrible day and messaged a friend to vent. She replied with, "Eat a cookie" and proceeded to send me a picture with a "motivational" quote from her buddhistic spiritual leader. FML

Today, I was over at a friend's house for a party. I was trying to strike up a conversation with one of my cute guy friends, so I showed him this funny picture of me that my friend took. His reply was "Hahahaa those Fatbooth pictures are hilarious!" It wasn't a Fatbooth picture. FML

Today, I decided to motivate myself to workout by looking at a picture of a guy with a six-pack on my computer screen while doing abs. My dad walked in after I finished and was still breathing heavily from working out. FML

Today, I was at the gym and saw an old friend. I have put on a lot of muscle in the past few months, and she said to me "Wow, you've really gotten big." Just by habit I said "You too." Turns out she's gained 45 lbs since I'd last seen her. Oops. FML

Actually yes #8 it does make the OP's friend a horrible friend. Its fine to use some visual tools to motivate yourself to stay in shape but it DOES NOT need to be a picture of the OP, regardless of whether she is indeed overweight or not. Thats just a mean thing to do and completely unneccessary.

F your life. Especially since a whole bunch of people on this site think that overweight = automatic allowed target for ridicule. I hate that. It doesn't matter what your appearance is, you still deserve respect. Besides, people, we don't know what she looks like. She might not even be that overweight but her friend's an ass. No matter what she is, though, that doesn't give anyone the right to call her all these demeaning things. Assholes.

True. One of my daughters is 5'1" and weighs 104, and the other is 5'6" and weighs 120. The little one is always calling her sister a fat-ass when they argue, because she wears a bigger size jeans. Clearly, she isn't. Girls can be so mean.
