Make it stop

Today, I arrived at the beach for a week's vacation. I walk on the beach only to find they are "rebuilding" it. They have heavy machinery all over the place, they work 24/7, and this only happens every 15 years. Glad I picked this week. FML

So, was the sun also out of commission? No? Well go out somewhere else and get off the internet! There must be more than just a beach in the area. It sucks but you can still have fun.

Seriously, I never knew there was construction on beaches. For all those who say op should have checked on that, how do you know about beach reconstruction? In Kentucky there is never a word mentioned about it at all, and I'm a senior in college. Hard to check on something you know nothing about.

Travel to a different beach. The ocean is pretty big and although it may take you out of your route you can find some really neat places outside of the "tourist zone".
