Long wait

Today, my best friend planned a birthday party for me at the local Mexican restaurant. NO ONE showed up. We'd told the waiter there would be 18 arriving. Two hours later he brought me free ice cream. Even the non-English speaking waiters knew I was a loser. FML

Your friends suck. That, in my opinion, is the FML. But, I don't know how you got the impression that "non-english speaking waiters knew" you were a loser. Did they come right out and tell you so? Or is it because they brought you free ice cream? A lot of restaurants give you a free dessert when it's your birthday, so that is probably why they gave you ice cream. You shouldn't think of it as a pity-treat. You need to build new friendships and re-build your self-esteem, because automatically assuming the waiters are thinking the worse kinda says you're not comfortable with yourself.

YDI, hohoho! Next time buy yourself a big present instead of wasting your money (or your best friend, if he/she paid) on a stupid party with some stupid friends. Nobody has 18 good friends.

I don't know what to say about this one.. if you're a bitch and THAT is why nobody likes you then thats your own fault, but If you're genuinely a nice person and they still dont like you then you don't deserve that and they're not your real friends anyway cause real friends would have shown up.

No see, the non-english speaking waiter actually knows how to speak english. He jus put on a "no speaky" act so he didnt have to stand there awkwardly while you cried your little eyes out and tell him how your life is fckd. Give him a little more credit then that, jeesh.
