Tell her you live in Canada. If she is going to throw an item of sports equipment at you then it needs to be a hockey puck.

A puck might hurt someone. The ball from a "sport" as sissy as baseball must certainly be safer.

Its less a question of safety than of patriotism. In America you thorw baseballs. In Canada you throw hockey pucks. In Russia... kettle bells I suppose. Although in Russia I would imagine that the kettle bells throw you instead.
