Sounds like something that would happen to me
ooh! a piece of candy!
I bet you'll have more opportunities to show him you're cool without him, so, be cool.
I don't really get it did her ex throw the candy or what? Idk how a piece of candy hitting her in the eye proves whether she is or isn't over her ex
she was trying to be all dignified and happy but got hit in the face with random flying candy instead.
At least it shows you're not an uncivilized prick like the person who threw the candy. Kudos to you for being the better person.
But free candy!!
this FML gave me a good laugh, however you shouldn't worry about your ex and what he thinks. He's your ex for a reason and it sounds like he's already moved on.. time for you to do the same!
Obviously you aren't over him if you were trying to prove something to yourself and him.
So, let's sum it up, you're not over him, you got hit in the eye, but free candy. One out of three isn't too bad.

You found your new eye-candy. Congratulations.
You can tell your friends you got hit on by a piece of eye candy in front of your ex and his new girlfriend
