Hard shoulder

Today, I found out my mom has been telling my entire family I need surgery on my "Labia" instead of my "Labrum". I went from needing shoulder surgery to needing vagina surgery with one group text. Thanks, mom. FML

I feel you. I had my uvula removed, a long time ago, because of reasons. My little sister told her friends I couldn't talk for a couple days because I'd had my vulva removed. I don't have a vulva. I never had a vulva. They are not part of the standard equipment package for guys.

Which is why you need it it removed! Obviously!

It's funny because reading this comment I automatically assumed you were a woman so when you got to "I never had a vulva" I was like "WHAAAAAATTTT???" and then I read your last sentence.

Well I'm sure it is an understandable mistake that can be corrected. *sees male tag* HA! I'm sure they'll figure it out now.

This is how all your friends and family find out about your sex-change. FYL. ;-)

The funny part about this is that you're a guy.

Even so it wouldn't be anything to be ashamed of! Send a text to the group saying it was a mistake. I hope your surgery goes well! :)

Clearly he knows where he's getting his surgery. There can also be one name to describe more than one thing.

There's a labrum in all socket joints. I've had surgery on both shoulder labrums and one hip labrum.

Glenoid vs acetabular. Who knew FML could be so educational?

And to make it confusing, the plural of "labrum" would be "labria."

She needs to keep her lips sealed

I'm litterally getting surgery on my labrum tomorrow?

Why are you asking us that? Seems like something you should know.
