Grandma knows best

Today, I’m beyond pissed off and downright repulsed that my daughter is still in her stupid rebellious phase. it's bad enough that she does shit herself but now she’s involving our grandchildren. She showed up to our annual gathering and my 10 year-old granddaughter had bright purple dyed hair. FML

Your granddaughter probably has an awesome mother and daft grandparents. Don’t criticise what you don’t understand, your old road is rapidly fading… please get off the new one if you can’t lend your hand for the times they are a changing!

oh no! not dyed hair! oh the horror! you sound like one of those hard noses helicopter parents that never let their kid/kids do anything...kudos to your daughter for not following in your footsteps and allowing her child to be a child and have fun.

no way this is an actual fml. your daughter seems awesome and you seem like a Karen.

Don't tell me she was showing her ankles! Was her corset not tight enough? OMG!

Learn to pick the battles that count. Hair color and appearance don’t count. Learn to respect others choices instead of thinking you are rule maker.

As a parent, I worry about a lot of things. My daughter's hair color isn't even on the list. If I become a grandparent, I can't even imagine thinking my granddaughter's hair color had anything to do with me at all.
