Today, I lost my job because I fell victim to an incredibly complex phone scam. The hackers didn't get anything, but now I don't know what's worse - I can't afford to feed my kids, or I can't afford my chemotherapy for my my terminal cancer. FML

Today, I got demoted at work and had a pay cut taken, all because I got sick from cancer and haven't recovered well enough to do every task. We are not short staffed. FML

Today, I was scammed by con artists, using a business to send out fraudulent checks for a fake "stay at home" job. Now not only do I have to try job hunting again, I'm also $2,000 in the hole with my bank account. You scam artist losers need to get off your ass and get a real job. FML

Today, I was turned down from the dream job that I was promised two years ago, once my chemo and radiation therapy was finished. His excuse? He never actually expected me to survive. FML

Today, I got let go from my job, because my personal cell phone doesn't always have signal, so I missed an important call from work. My contract specifically said I'd get a work phone, which never happened. FML

Today, I lost my $100 in cash that I had to use to pay my phone bill. As a result, my phone got cut off and I missed an important call for an apartment that I was looking at. When I went to work, I heard my boss saying how lucky she was to find $100 in cash. FML

Today, I went to work feeling great. I'd just paid off my student loans and was planning a trip to see friends in Italy. I left work unemployed because a fraud case I exposed 3 years ago got the company sued for slander. It was thrown out because everything was fact. FML

OP, I am very sorry for this. I wish you didn't have a terminal condition but I admire you for giving it your all to support your kids. This is most likely the most depressing FML I've ever read. The YDI option should be disabled on this one out of courtesy and respect 😔 A human being who's, guaranteed to die, fighting financial difficulties to support her children is heroically tragic. I really hope there's that slim chance you aren't terminal and it was a misdiagnosis. I shall pray for you and your kids. I hope your kids fare well and that you find Heavenly peace after this life 🙏🏽❤.

I cannot understand what heartless person can press the YDI button on that one. Probably the same type of heartless person that will fire someone with terminal cancer. OP, my prayers are with you, I hope that some good people in your surrounding with open their heart and support you both financially and emotionally in dealing with the situation.
