Everything's gone green

Today, it's been a month since the hair dye that was supposed to be temporary is still making my hair tropically green, now with some added roots making it look even worse. FML

Just suck it up and go to a professional stylist to fix it. Anything you do yourself has the potential to make it worse.

You sure it didn’t read semi permanent on the packaging? Lots of people confuse that with temporary colour. However, even some temporary or “wash out” colours can last longer than expected. If it is indeed a temporary colour, keep re-washing the colour treated area. A solution of 1:3 apple cider vinegar and water, sprayed on and washed out, can sometimes help lighten the colour as well. However, green is a hard colour to completely disappear (especially on light hair - believe me, I’ve had green hair myself). You may need to go to a salon to have them lift out the last of the colour and colour it to match your regular shade. Good luck!
