Epipen time!

Today, my aunt asked me to babysit my cousin. She gave me a warning that he says he's allergic to foods to get out of eating them. When I brought out my homemade cooking, he told me he was allergic, so I made him eat it anyway. Turns out he WAS allergic. FML

I think it's dumb that the aunt didn't tell her the foods the kid is allergic to. :/

I feel bad for you because you were just following orders, fyl op

I know how that kid feels. my mom did the same thing when I told her I was allergic to nuts, you can figure out the rest.

Aunt might be one of those psychos. My mom needs an epi pen for her ant allergy, but my dad was convinced it's just in her head...until her throat starting closing. (I also remember him telling me to 'get used to' the hot water that left second degree burns all over my body.)

sucks for him. It reminds me of a baby sitter my dad had who made him drink a "family recipe" for his cold ,and she wouldn't let him stop until he threw up for the sixth time.

I don't see how this is their fault... it's the parents responsibility to leave a list of allergies, medical problems, emergancy contacts, and any other notes the babysitter would need. besides, the mom told op that when the child said that it was to get out of eating stuff. my guess is that no one knew the child was allergic to it, otherwise any food allergies would have been brought up during that discussion.

its not like you killed him or anything

the mother should have definitely told u some thing.... not rlly ur fault :) fly tho....
