Today, my now apparently ex-fiance let me know our engagement was off by throwing my ring in the trash. No words, just throwing it away. I always slept without it, to avoid damaging it. Guess I'm single again. FML

If the ring is so cheap, you have to avoid damaging it, you probably dodged a bullet there! Find someone who will give you a sturdy ring!

OK breaking off an engagement may have reasons... but why show it off and make it rude? Enjoy your single time, and remember that his melodramatic gesture is probably just a fair amount of immaturity.

That’s honestly hurtful, think you dodged a bullet there, he’s basically said you’re trash and nothing to him so get back out there, you can do better than him
