I mean he should've let you explain but at the same time if he never knew that, it somewhat justifiable

Good thing he didn't find the message from your "friend" where if he asked if you had any rubbers available.
Then, you'd try to have to bullshit your boyfriend that he meant erasers.

No, she's right. A thong is a flip-flop. The underwear is a g-string.

Look, I'm not saying a g-string and a thong are the same thing, just that the Australians call a thong a g-string. If you got a problem with that, go complain to them.

I’m Australian. A thong is a g-string and flip flops are thongs.

As an Aussie, we do! Pluggers, Double Pluggers, or Thongs! What everyone else calls a THONG as in underwear we call a G-String, dunno why but we do!

In America flip flops used to be called thongs! Until that thong thong thong song came out!

And that's why in France we spell them "tongs", no H. I know it also has a meaning in english but at least it's not underwear-related...

Your boyfriend's an idiot. I know that in other parts of the world they call flip-flops thongs. And even if you'd left underwear over there, there is an entirely innocent explanation, especially if you were staying overnight (in a separate bedroom).

As an Australian I can agree that we call them thongs
