If you are 18 or older they cannot “force you” to move back in with them. Grow a pair - block them. Never, ever let them get hands on your apartment key even “temporarily” or they will show up without warning.
That's just odd. Of course it's a big adjustment for everyone, but this level of surveillance is ridiculous. Tell them you'll call a couple of times a week, but draw a line beyond that.
Aside from what would be an UNHINGED level of communication, who's voluntarily up at 6 for zero reason?
they're only doing this because you're allowing it. if you're an adult they can't make you do anything. set and keep boundaries with them, otherwise they're going to interfere with any friendships and relationships
It's a big change, and some parents have it harder than others. Talk to them, get to some arrangement that works for both. For example figure out what worries them so much and show them things are under control. Promise to call them if something bad happen. In time they'll get used to it and you can reduce the amount of worrying.

You need to have a serious conversation with them. Either they stop with this behaviour or you go no contact.
