Today, I found out my husband hasn't paid the mortgage in 3 months. We have a joint account, but it has always been his job to pay the bills. We are in the process of selling our house, and when I asked him about it he said, "Why are you stressing? We're selling anyways." FML

Wow he's a special kind of stupid clearly. So you could lose the house and any equity and your credit score will take a huge hit at the same time so you'll have a harder time getting another house. Maybe marry someone smarter next time? I mean does he hide his idiocy that well?

If you are going to be buying your next house with the cash you'll net from selling the current one, he might be using rich folks economics. Run up a big debt and don't pay it -- rich people call that "leverage."
