Today, as caregiver, I had to physically remove the shit my grandpa had stuck in his rectum, because he doesn't remember how to shit. He barely knows who I am, which is good because when he remembers who he is, he becomes an abusive asshole. I'm 27. FML

Re the poop issue your having to deal with atm, can I recommend apple juice or apricot puree it will help with his motions. I speak from experience sadly.

Is he an asshole with Alzheimer's? It sounds like he doesn't have much time left. All that anger is gonna drain what longevity he has left.

Check into in home support services and hospice care. Anyone else who can help with him? I'm the only person in my family who cared. Most of my life was siblings and family members. I'm glad I have my wife because none of them ever ask how I'm doing, and I have several autoimmune disorders. Good luck
