Today, I had an interview for my dream job. Things were going well, the lady was about to offer me the job, but then I got the hiccups. She immediately changed her tone and said, “Yeah, I think we’re done here. Next time, don’t show up to a job interview drunk.” I had no alcohol in my system. FML

Sounds like you dodged a bullet here. The dream job would have turned into a nightmare with this clueless of a boss.

You make a good point. People often leave jobs not because of the work but because their boss is a ********. I, for one, if offered equivalent rates of pay, would rather break rocks all day for a great boss than drink beer in my underpants all day for a toxic boss.

What kind of dream job discourages drinking at work? The happiest people in the office are the ones who are well-lubricated, if you know what I mean ;)
