Today, my girlfriend broke up with me over a stupid argument, but after a long day we made up and got back together. Not long afterwards, my friend called, feeling guilty and confessing that he had sex with her after finding out she'd dumped me. FML

Today, it's been two weeks since my girlfriend of many years and I decided to take a short break from each other. We'd been fighting a lot and felt like some space would help the situation. I found out today that, at some point during those two weeks, she decided to go and have sex with my (now ex) best friend. FML

ouch, I wouldn't stay with her. if she breaks up with you and not 5 minutes later she does that...WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND...she doesn't really love you or care how she makes you feel. find you a classy woman with self respect. trust me you'll enjoy your life more and you'll live happier.

While it was stupid for him to agree to do that knowing that you had feelings for her, as she was your ex, it still takes a loyal friend to openly admit to something like that. He had his wrongs and he realizes that, but it's good that he at least had enough respect to admit that to you and be honest.
