Today, my girlfriend broke up with me over a stupid argument, but after a long day we made up and got back together. Not long afterwards, my friend called, feeling guilty and confessing that he had sex with her after finding out she'd dumped me. FML

Today, it's been two weeks since my girlfriend of many years and I decided to take a short break from each other. We'd been fighting a lot and felt like some space would help the situation. I found out today that, at some point during those two weeks, she decided to go and have sex with my (now ex) best friend. FML

OP - I would end it right there. If she is so fickle as to run into the arms of another man (setting aside he's supposed to be a "friend") she is likely to do this for the rest of her life or at the bear minimum do it to you again... Make the Change now..

Well technically he didn't make her cheat on you AND he confessed it. But her behavior is inapropriate... Hope you dumped her! Maybe you can get your stuff together with your friend. Good luck OP.
