I dont feel this is a fml because it's not something you did. it is a fml for a coworker.

Here is how to turn something like this to your advantage: the very fact that it existed and most if not all almost all of the office participated is testament to his poor leadership. Upper management or owner(s) tend to take notice of such things. If nearly the entire office is participating in an email chain about how bad that boss is, it's pretty obvious the problem lies with him.
