A "friend" indeed

Today, I was walking to the store when I ran into one of my friends. He said he heard about my bike being stolen the day before, and that whoever took it was a heartless dick. I hadn't told anyone about the theft. FML

it doesn't mean he did it, maybe he heard it from the person who did it the guy is just bragging to everyone that it got around already. but yea fyl.

This isn't an fml, this is a **** yeah, now you know who took your bike. Your bike and revenge are now yours for the taking.

If OP didn't tell anyone about the theft yet and his/her friend knows about it then it was probably his/her friend that stole their bike.

you should have said "yea well the police are looking into criminal charges and jail time if the person doesn't come out soon"
