if you were spending a lot of time out with the guys and ignoring her, then it's your own fault. from what's here though, it sounds like she was just driving for an excuse. if that's the case, sounds like she didn't really pay attention to what's going on with you and you dodged a bullet there.

Try not to be too sad about losing her. She has to be a gigantic asshole to toss out such a weak excuse. Brighter days are ahead buddy! PS Congrats on your sobriety! Two years is impressive. Keep on treating yourself well.
