Let it go, let it gooooo. Seriously, either end the friendship or get a better grip on your feelings, process them and leave them on the back burner until they fade, etc. I know we can't help our feelings, but we can choose our actions. And at the end of the day he isn't available and that isn't fair to your best friend or his S/O. Time to move on, OP.
