Today, my teacher just told me he is not going to allow any late work for my accommodations because I'm "just making excuses for not doing the work," including the tech not working. I'm visually impaired and can’t see the assignment. FML

Today, I've been making extremely good progress in my online class. Or at least… I was, until the deadline to complete it was suddenly pushed a whole month forward, causing me to be "behind." Then my teacher had the nerve to email me, telling me I needed to catch up. FML

Today, my parents got a call from my principal. I'd been lying that I couldn’t see the work I had to do in my online class, because I was behind and I needed to catch up. Tomorrow my parents are getting a call, telling them the dates I've been logged into the online learning. I haven’t logged in in weeks. FML

Today, one of my classmates asked the teacher to postpone her presentation because she had to study and the teacher happily agreed. When I approached her, the teacher started yelling at me because postponing deadlines is irresponsible. I just wanted to make sure we didn't need to bring our book. FML

Today, I asked my professor what happened to the assignment I gave him several weeks ago. Turns out he lost it, and graded me zero as a result. Now if I want a mark, he says I'll have to hand-write it all over again, but that I "probably shouldn't bother," because it was "a bit shit, really." FML

Today, I got yelled at for 10 minutes by my head of department for failing one of my students for plagiarism, because, "we can't be sure." It was my work he plagiarised, but because it's not in our system, it doesn't count. FML

Not necessarily. If OP is referring to their own accessibility software this is no more illegal than refusing a student from submitting late work because "My computer crashed" If the tech that isn't working is something the school provided, that's a completely different matter. Either way it's an FML though.

if you have an IEP/504 plan that's a violation of a federal law and a violation of the IDEA act your county should have a special education office you can make a report to
