You ordered the car 30 minutes before? You should have been at the hospital 3 hours before, if you seriously wanted the job! Even better, you should have faked an injury or illness to spend the night before at the hospital!

I've never taken an uber before but... is it normal to stuff the car full of strangers who may or may not be going in the same direction and/or may be in a time constraint?

You should probably have your own car. Or ordered a taxi or taken a bus. But I still find it pretty sad when adults can't drive.

Next time you're going for an interview, try to spring for the non-pool version of uber...then you won't be late.
