Today, whilst vacuuming, I stupidly decided to vacuum the bathroom drain to see what would happen. Turns out it will cause stinking septic water to get sucked into the machine and spew all over the walls, ceiling and vanity. It also causes the vacuum cleaner to stop working. FML

Does your mother still tie your shoes? The amount of stupid in this world is amazing. Please do not reproduce.

as you said yourself op...stupid decision

I'm sorry, but HAHAHAHA YOU MADE MY DAY, TY

I bet you were going to try the drain first and your crotch next. Lol

Jesus Christ you people are asses! OP didn't know what to expect! Geez give him/her a break, honestly I have never thought of vacuuming a drain, so I had never thought of what would happen! You don't have to be an ass just because you know something that OP didn't.

Thank you for telling us. I would have done exactly the same if it had occurred to me. And btw commentators, septic means 'infected with bacteria', not excrement.

In the litteral sense it does, but as they are part of the sewage system, there will always be excrement in it.

If you were that curious you probably should have looked it up online before actually doing it

Maybe you should research plumbing a little and you'd know that there's a fitting that holds water to keep the sewer smell out of the house.

Have you ever seen that reality show "An Idiot Abroad"? You should apply for the part.
