Today, my husband of 5 months admitted he is jealous of my dog. I've had the dog for 16 years. He admits to wanting to drop it off at the shelter while I'm at work. FML

So after many discussions and compromises my husband has came to tolerate (his words) the dog and no longer makes jokes about dropping him off at the shelter. He understands the bond that we (the dog and I) have since the dog has been with me since he was 2 weeks old. I even caught him and the dog cuddling last week. He has never had a pet, and now that he knows the love they can bring we may get another one. Hes even agreed to my morals #adoptdontshop
