Someone wants to be an only child. It'll get better, I hope. My niece was extremely upset to find out she was going to have a brother and not a sister. Told my sister she would not touch the baby or play with him. She eventually got over it, and was obsessed by the time he was born.

Don't worry, when I was two, I walked over my baby brother. Literally walked over him. Your son can't be worse. :)

My older sister was pretty upset, too. Unless your son is developing psychopathic tendencies, I wouldn't worry. He'll get over it. Watch out for the punching thing until then, though.

my 3 yr old loves the idea of having a sister but doesn't want a brother cause she thinks he'll mess with her stuff. she's been super clingy as well and when she hugs me she headbutts me. i don't think it's intentional headbutting but i figure when the baby's big enough for the kicks to be felt on the outside she's gonna get quite a few kicks in the head cause of that.
