That really does suck bad lolz I do have a gps it gives me right calculations only problem is it keeps calculating to much :( I know

Well it depends on how much information the OP knew about the location since on a GPS you can just type out a general POi name and not have to know the address and such. Which in that case it'd be difficult to find on a map if you don't know the roads and such that you're looking for.

Ours told us to turn right while we were on a road with one side a cliff the other rocks ha they are trying to take over!

This is why, even with a Sat Nav, it's always an idea to have a quick glance at a map to get some idea of where you're going. So that in the event that it does have a stupid moment, you can carry on anyway.
