Today, my doctor finally prescribed me some medication for my arthritis. The cap was insanely well-secured, and my hands were too racked with pain to get it off. FML

Might I suggest a hammer? OR you could get a child to open it. Those little ******* seem to be the only ones capable of opening those damn child safety caps.

Ask for non-child proof cap, I get them on all mine to make it easier to open.

Did anyone else think of that incredibly old SNL commercial parody for Asprin?

I can totally relate!! I hate it when that happens to me!!

Where I am, we have these caps that one side, it just pops off, and the other is the child-safety.

Oops! ....as long as they're aware it's THEIR responsibility to keep meds safe from children & pets. Thank you for the nice words!

you can ask your pharmacist for an easy open cap.

That's a bummer. But I guess you can make new friends that way

That sucks OP :/ I work in the pharmacy and they have easier to open caps for reasons like this. Maybe your doctor forgot to note it or he's a sneaky asshole haha.

If you still have old film canisters (from the days before digital cameras), they make great pill cases. Just lock the medicine cabinet so kids can't get to them.
