Today, marks three days since I was supposed to follow the moving truck to my new home. Instead, I got super sick and my dad drove away without me. I've been laying on a dog cushion the entire weekend because my bed is 500 miles away. FML

I'm sorry you were sick! Was it not financially possible for you to just get a motel/hotel for the weekend for super cheap around you? At least you'd have a bed! Get well soon!

It depends on whats worth it to you. I've gotten rates of $70 for a weekend using those hotel finder sites. If I were sick, I'd love a bed (and free breakfast) and pay for it over sleeping on a dog bed. Even if I had to go home to let the dog out!

The funny* thing is; you might be sick because of your dog. I almost lost my leg in March because my dog caught an animal in the back yard, rolled in it, and came inside. With my comprised immune system I picked up a bacteria and it went right for the leg. *not 'funny' "Ha ha!", like I'm a clown, here to amuse you. Like, funny, how?

13 - If it's threatening your health, it's probably best for you and your dog to find it a new home. If you die, most people won't care enough to find it a good place and would just drop it off at the pound. It wouldn't make someone an asshole.
