Today, I wore a dress that I bought last weekend to work, thinking how I liked it and it fitted me perfectly, until someone at work told me that I was actually wearing a nightie. FML

Hi yeah i know a lot of ya'll are thinking of how dumb am i to wear a nightie and not know the difference..for one thing, it was sold with other dresses and no it's not see through, it actually has an underskirt and the reason my colleague commented was due to the lacy neckline.. and i actually paired it off with a slacks and a cardigan, so no, i'm not working in a brothel though that made me LOL...people can have the silliest idea.. i'm still a bit convinced it's a dress, but nevertheless i'm not wearing it out any more.. cheers!

Just tell Victoria to keep it a secret. Maybe no one else will notice.

I bought a nightgown as a bathing suit cover. Not exactly the same, but I wore it proud.

It's probably not as obvious as everyone here thinks it must be. However, you are sending a subliminal signal to your boss that you are willing to sleep your way to the top. And if it fits as well as you say, your plan has a chance. Work it, girlfriend.

This is the first time I see perdix docbasterd and noorfml appear in the same page. Epic moment of fml.

Thanks for noticing, but we are all frequent commenters on here, so such an occurrence is commonplace. Now, if you ever see a page with "That sucks," "Aw, I'm sorry," and "YOLO" on it, that either(ee) means the End of the World or the Messiah is coming.

Is anyone else wondering what kind of place she works at that would have dress code standards that low?

What makes you think the dress code has low standards? I doubt what she was wearing was see through and lacy.

It's not all about sexual appeal.

Hey nighties are comfy. A lot of people would just love to wear it at work, school, lectures and just snooze away. "Mmm I'm so comfy in this screw you people I'll just take a nap!" Zzzz Just do it discretely so you don't get caught~

Unless it was too revealing (too short, see-through, etc.), your co-worker had no reason to tell you it was a nightie. Sure sounds like pure jealousy motivated her/him. Hold your head up high. You looked and felt hot. Heck, Madonna made wearing undergarments vogue. Now you and your daytime nightie. You're a trendsetter!

The pleasantries of living in America!!! Couldn't get away with that in the Middle East!!!

Way to go, genius... Just when I think people can't get any dumber, they do... Lol..
