Today, I went to a salon to have my eyebrows waxed. During the application the woman sneezed. The wax is not water based, so no matter what they tried, it would not come out of my eyebrows. I now have to decide whether leave the noticeable brown wax in my eyebrows or wax them all off and draw them in. FML

Top comment wins: I now have two mustaches on my face!! She sneezed away from me, thankfully not in my face. I felt the wax go everywhere. For some reason her gut reaction was to put the waxing paper on my eyebrow. Which made things a lot more difficult because they couldn't get to the wax. So they had to pick at the paper and peel that off the best they could. They tried warm compresses, and I'm not sure what different solvents they tried, but they did not work. My eye/face was getting so irritated I finally just told them I needed to leave. My friend helped me with baby oil which after a lot of patience worked. I'm still missing some parts. Thankfully they already called to offer me some various complimentary services.

Have the woman give you a free body massage as compensation for waxing off your eyebrow.

Every salon should have wax remover. It's very easy to get at any beauty supply store

by definition wax can't be water based.

oil gets outs wax. your should have left it in and applied baby oil until it was all gone

I'm surprised the didn't use an oil based wax removed to get it off. It should have been an option... FYL, OP. That is awful. :/

Coconut oil will get most wax off, that's what I use.

Sounds like lawsuit material to me :)

If you would go through all that trouble for a lawsuit over wax and your eyebrows, you my friend are truly an idiot. you would certainly get laughed out of the court room, and rightfully so.

Most kids don't realize that suing someone isn't like going to the teacher. Some of them never realize that, actually.

When I use to get my eyebrows waxed, they had some stuff to get the wax out. You might want to change people

Oils, like baby oil or some of the sort, usually work. That happened to me a few times, baby oil removed it and my hairs stayed in place.

there is a product to remove the wax, without the hair. it comes in the hair removal kit. if they don't know how to remove it.... don't let them ever touch you again!
