Today, I went back to my doctor because I had an ear infection in my left ear. Not only do I now have an infection in my right ear as well, I also I have a yeast infection from the antibiotics. FML

Yogurt doesn't really help unless it not only has live cultures, but the right KIND of cultures. That any kind works is just a myth. The fact that you not only have a still infected left ear but also now have an infected right ear is a matter of concern- you need to contact your GP about a follow up, because you may need a different antibiotic, and worst case scenario may have an antibiotic resistant strain. As to the yeast infection- you know that antibiotics make you prone to yeast infections now, so ask for a course of an anti-fungal like fluconazole to follow up antibiotic courses with. Not every doctor will do it, but it can be a time and agony saver if they will.

People, please don't put random things on/in your in your ****** unless your doctor says it's okay.

Get plain yogurt and put down there it helps with the itching. Then get Briggs apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons of that to one teaspoon of honey

Virgin/pure coconut oil also works to treat yeast infections as well

OP needs someone to piss in her ear. Maybe this time it helps.

That's why you're supposed to eat yogurt if you're taking antibiotics. However if you're allergic to yogurt, that sucks

Lady, you just scored a medical hat trick! Those aren't easy to come by.

Inception of infection. SOUNDS like you are CULTURED.

just take a probiotic 2 hours after your antibiotic. it usually does take about a week for an ear infection to completely go away. good luck. few days for yeast infection.

every damn time I take antibiotics that happens to me too.

I'm on antibiotics for a kidney infection that lead to antibiotics for a yeast infection. I know your pain.
