Today, I was staying in my family friend's house in France. The church bells ring every hour, which I thought was cute. Until 8 this morning where they rang 24 times. FML

I had the same problem in Italy.. On holy days they play songs every 15 mins.. Our house was directly beside the church too. Feel your pain OP.

Austria & Germany in a nutshell but mostly Austria. In Austria, me and my parents stayed in some small, middle of nowhere, town. We stayed above a restaurant/pub. The town was so small that the church was literally a few feet from our hotel room. The church bells went off like every hour or something. It was either suffocate in a hotel room and not get any sleep or breathe in the fresh air and still not get any sleep.

oh my god this haooened when I was skiing im Söll, Austria too. Id love to find out why but im too lazy to google
