Dazed and Confused
Today, I was promoted. I got advice throughout the day from all of management on what I'm supposed to do first thing everyday. Not one was the same as the other. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, the only colleague I dislike was promoted to be my manager. FML
Today, it was the first day after my promotion. Everyone, including myself, was shocked that I was promoted so quickly. I figured it was because of all the hard work and overtime I'd put in. However, my coworkers figure I'm just sleeping with the boss, and constantly glare and snicker behind my back. FML
Today, it's my first day as the boss, after waiting months for this promotion. Today is also the day my replacement, who I trained for three months, quit. Now I've got two jobs for the price of one. FML
Today, it was my first day as a promoted manager. I got fired for being late. FML
Today, I got fired. Yesterday was my birthday and I was told I was getting a promotion. FML
Today, I went into work happy about my supervising promotion. When I arrived at work, I realized that only one person had decided to come into work today, which meant I had to clean 15 rooms, and supervise myself. FML
Today, I interviewed potential employees for a job position that I was supposed to get promoted to. FML
Today, I got a promotion to management at work. My employer decided to give the 'non-management' employees a really nice raise. Which means the job I had before my promotion is now paying more than the job I have now. Did I just get demoted? FML
Today, I was promoted. After going to school for 10 months to get certified for the new position, training extensively, and taking on a ton more responsibility, I was hoping for a decent raise. How much do my bosses think all of that time and effort is worth? One dollar more per hour than I made before. FML
Today, I got promoted. By promoted, I mean, given a much harder job with no training and no extra pay because someone went on maternity leave. They've already hired someone for my old position. FML

Go to the highest up and mention that immediately before the shit flows down the hill to you

Congratulations on your promotion. Unfortunately, sometimes an employer will see this as an opportunity to take advantage you. You could attempt to handle that workload, or divvy it out. A combination of the two might not be so bad. I'm sure your higher ups might sympathize, if they realize what is going on. Best of luck to you friend.

Do them all at first, then delegate them all to underlings. Eventually, you'll be getting paid the big bucks for doing nothing.

Different managers always seem to have a different way of doing things. You should try having a group conversation with them to clear it all up.

there should be a written out job description somewhere. if not, get your supervisor to confirm.

That's when you get all your managers together and explain that you all ask me to do different things first thing in the morning if you need to decide what I am to do first is no then I will do in the order I was told

You should tell them what the others are saying, "Oh, you want me to do this? I thought I was supposed to do this different task because so and so said...?

"Your job is to come in early and make coffee, every day.." "Don't forget about the pizza!" "Oh, right! And you're in charge of bringing in pizza every day for lunch..."
