Today, I was playing around on Photo Booth, using weird effects on pictures of myself. I clicked on one and thought to myself that it was a really ugly effect. Then I noticed that it was set on normal. FML

Today, I was at the Apple Store taking random pictures of myself. I took one with a really stupid face. This girl passes by and says, "Wow, that's a cool effect! You look just like an alien!" I wasn't using any effects. It was a regular picture. FML

Today, my friend sent me a weird selfie in black and white. I sent one back, and she said I looked like an 80s porn star. It was funny, but then three of my friends had the same reaction. I didn't even look good in the picture. FML

I thought the same thing until I realized that she meant an ugly feature as in a feature that distorted the particular picture in an ugly manner, not a feature that automatically makes all of them ugly.

I put a picture of my junk on an online dating site. I applied the Twirl effect (any idiot could apply the Bulge or Stretch effects) and my Inbox became stuffed with propositions from women. Things went great until word got around that WYS was not WYG. And now I am here.

Ooh, so I'm not the only one. Yay. Yeah don't sweat it, Photobooth isn't the most flattering way to view yourself for most people. (Or maybe I'm just saying that so I can feel better about myself...)
