This "just cause" situation in parts of the US makes no flipping sense to me to be honest. Were I live you can also be let go whenever the emplyer decides they don't need you anymore and I think that's their good right. Why should they be forced to keep an employee that doesn't work porperly just because they can't find a valid enough reason to fire him/her. Or why should they have to be afraid of getting sued everytime they let someone go. This is uper ridiculous? So I (as a normal employee myself) think that is a good thing. If I'm not working properly I deserve to be sacked. It's as simple as that. However if you are being let go you usually get a notice 2 month in advance and then you have certain rights. Like you get a couple of days off per month to go to job interviews and stuff. So I that's good as well.
