Erm, why would she look forward to that? What would compel her to do the same to someone she loves (whom has nothing to do with the situation as well), when she's been through it and knows how it feels? This isn't even the slightest bit humorous, although I'm pretty sure it was an attempt. FYL, OP. That really, really sucks. Something similar has happened to my family and in my opinion, if you're family, you should really ask to have sloppy seconds (and, obviously, make sure it's over between you two). Otherwise, if there are still feelings involved, it can be extremely tense and awkward. Breaking the bond family members have since birth is a worse betrayal than a boyfriend who might not last the long run anyway.
