Today, I called the AAA because my car wouldn't turn on. After waiting for an hour and missing my first important job interview they showed up. The guy fixed the car immediately. I turned off the car while it was in gear.... all I had to do was put it in park. FML

Wow, I thought I was the only one whose brain farted and done this. I ended up calling my dad and the first thing he asks me is what gear the car is in. When I looked down and saw that I'd turned the car off while it was still on drive I felt like a massive idiot. I hope you can explain the situation and get the interview rescheduled!

Today I found out that paying $40 for next-day shipping doesn't ensure that you'll receive the item the next day or even the next week. I assumed it was my fault for ordering too late into the holiday season. Turns out they never shipped it. When I finally received it 10 days late, it was the wrong item. FML
